Revival doesn’t come when people simply desire it. Revival comes when the saints believe for it.

?Don?t be ashamed of your song.?
If you are a worship leader or songwriter, remember that God has given you a song. Write it. Sing it. Never be ashamed that your song sounds different from John Foreman or Bob Dylan.
It must be different. Because you are different. Now, go. Play. Write.
?God created you to worship. If you?re not a worshiper of God, you forfeit the reason you exist. And you wonder why nothing ever really comes together in your life. When you walk in a state of forfeiting the reason you exist, you can never know the full favor of God and the purpose for you being here.?
– Ray Hughes
"He will always relieve, answer, and bless if people will pray from the heart, and if they will give…"
?He will always relieve, answer, and bless if people will pray from the heart, and if they will give themselves to real, true praying.?
– E.M. Bounds
Listening to a great word from Ray Hughes. Here?s a piece of it:
Consider the brush in your hand or guitar in your lap to be a tool to embrace God and all of his mysterious possibilities for your future. Get your song back! Begin to sing the songs that you hear in your heart. Begin to sing the songs I may have been hidden through all the dark ages the death in the disease and the curses that come to our family bloodlines. It?s time for someone to get their song back.
Freedom is a beautiful thing. Never forget that true freedom is not political, racial or otherwise. True freedom is the Good News that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners so that we could trust in Him and receive His forgiveness and wholeness.
That’s a truth that never gets old.
